What is ASI?Adventist-Laymen's Services & Industries (ASI) is an organization of Seventh-day Adventist church members who work in the private sector in business and professional vocations. The organization has approximately 1,000 members, comprised of Seventh-day Adventist men and women from nearly every walk of life. They represent all the diversity that is found within the Adventist Church.
The ASI philosophy promotes a Christ-centered lifestyle, manifested by a commitment to be in daily partnership with God. Members seek to experience God's love in their own lives and share that love with the people they encounter in their business and professional activities each year; hence ASI's motto, Sharing Christ in the Marketplace.
ASI is also committed to supporting the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its various outreach programs which include health, education, evangelism, community services, family concerns and special projects.
MissionASI — the organization of Seventh-day Adventist lay persons involved in professions, industry, education, and/or services — exists to provide challenge, nurture and experience in Sharing Christ in the Marketplace as well as support the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
VisionASI and its members will be known for their unswerving honesty in business principles and practices, unflagging participation in the various ministries of the Church, unwavering positiveness toward Church leadership, unhesitating provision for the needs of others, and untiring focus on the Christ they represent in the marketplace. Youth for Jesus Although ASI is for professionals, it does not exclude the Youth. "Youth for Jesus" is an ASI-sponsored, youth-led evangelism campaign that happens each summer in the city hosting that year's ASI Convention. Young people from around the world participate in this exciting program. Participants are involved in door-to-door outreach, Bible studies, evangelistic meetings, and more. Visit the Youth for Jesus website to learn more about this program and how to apply.
